For this particular project I have used 3 mm paper strips .I wanted the poppies to look more like Manuk's but lets face it ...it.s impossible..plus she used 1 mm strips and I have yet to battle with those kind of strips. Need more experience heheh.

There really gorgeous !!!!

I would love more followers.
I've never tried this technique before, but I have had a peek at several of your blog posts, and I must admit that you make the most wonderful creations using this technique. Love how you use such bold and happy colors, and for this card the black background accentuates the colors. Great work, well done!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful you r flowers look. The flower center is especially fantastic

ReplyDeleteWonderful, gorgeous, lively poppies. I like yours more then Manuk's and I definitely love the wheat, it's almost alive. I've just seeded some poppies for myself, too, thank you so much for the impulse (they were on the bucket list for quite some time, I just didn't know where to start).
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!

Beautiful work, I am sure it takes time and patience to do this.

Thanks for stopping in to leave me sweet comments! I am now following you too! This is a fabulous quilling job! I think everyone has their own style even something that can become so technical as quilling, so you don't have to worry about the poppies not looking like Manuk's! It gives it it's own unique character!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! superb quilling...so very neat! thanks for leaving lovely comment in my blog...appreciate a lot :)
