A new experience!

Hi everybody!! Long time no see. How have you been?
I have done soo many things since my last post but not so much quilling I admit. I only have 1 work done since... March? Wow, that is a while.

The reason I haven't quilled so much is because of my studies but mainly because of AIESEC, the biggest international organization run by students for students. I have joined the organization in Spring and since then I kept busy. I chose to be part of the communication department because I really want to learn more about branding, advertising and copywriting. Like this, my last quilled work has been the logo for my department. Since I first saw it I said: "It looks perfect for quilling!" and so I did it.
This is the end result:

Doesn't it look really colourful and nice? Perfect for quilling.

As a promise, before I end my first post in months, I will start quilling again. I already have 2 projects in process of making soo please anticipate them.

A tragicomedy~ or An Elegant Black & While Lace Mask~

Still can.t decide how to properly name it.[Any ideas?] I mean it.s a tragicomedy mask but..the point I wanted to highlight is the illusion of lace~I find lace to be very elegant and beautiful and thats what I was looking for to create.
I know I said earlier today that I.ll be posting tomorrow but I finished it and I.m so excited that I can.t wait. I loove how it turned out honestly.I did not expect it heheh. but I better let the pictures speak for themselves.

Inca nu ma pot decide la un nume potrivit.[Niste sugestii?] Vreau sa spun ca este o o masca pentru teatru semnificand tragedia si comedia [o masca cunoscuta de toti] dar punctul pe care m.am axat a fost crearea iluziei de dantela. Imi place cum dantela emite un aer de eleganta si frumusete ,iar exact aceste lucruri am cautat sa le nuantez. 
Stiu ca am spus mai devreme astazi ca voi posta lucrarea maine dar am terminat mai repede si sunt atat de entuziasmata incat pur si simplu nu mai pot astepta. Pur si simplu ador cum a iesit si sincer?? nu ma asteptam sa iasa deloc.heheh..dar mai bine las pozele sa vorbeasca de la sine nu?

I have used 3 mm strings of black and white cardboard and the dimensions are that of a square with 30 cm sides.I could not make the entire mask look like lace so I.ve used black and white glitter gel to fill in certain parts. Anway..here are some photos with the sketches I used. I think I ruined around 10 sheets of paper to end up with this particular design.I was not easy to stick with one .heheh

Am folosit fasii de carton alb si negru cu latimea de 3 mm iar dimensiunea lucrarii este cea a unui patrat cu latura de 30 de cm. Nu as fi putut sa fac o masca sa arate din dantela daca nu as fi folosit gel cu sclipici alb si negru pentru a umple anumite regiuni. Oricum..va prezint si cateva poze cu schitele pe care le.am folosit. Cred ca am stricat in jur de 10 pagini de hartie ca sa ma multumesc cu modelul acesta.Nu a fost usor sa raman la unul singur.heheh

Oh..and I almost forgot...here is my source of inspiration. It a wonderful piece created by Natasha Molotkova. Here [♥] you can see her amazing creations. 

As I found this first on google I rly though it was a digital photograph .I did not think for 1 second it is quilled.She is indeed amazing.Great job.And I am sorry I did not give you credit earlier. I did not know where to look.

Cand am gasit poza  pe google chiar nu am crezut ca este facuta din quilling.Am crezut can este o poza digitala. Asta m.a determinat in primul rand sa incerc sa creez acel aspect de dantela cu ajutorul quillingului. Si imi pare rau ca nu am dat credit mai devreme. Chiar nu stiam unde sa caut.

Growing Poppies~

Hi there~Here I come with yet another project of mine. This one is a request of my dear cousin that wanted another wall frame from me. The first time I have given her  one with a butterfly [♥] this time she wanted something else and while I was showing her some fav creations she fell in love with Manuk's poppies . And so I have began "growing"poppies heheh.

Buna~ Iata ca revin cu inca un proiect de al meu. Acesta este cerut de verisoara mea draga care a vrut inca un tablou de la mine. Prima data i.am dat un tablou cu un fluture [♥] , de aceasta data a vrut ceva diferit si, pe masura ce ii aratam cateva creatii favorite s.a indragostit de macii facuti de Manuk. Si asa am inceput sa "cresc" maci.heheh.

For this particular project I have used 3 mm paper strips .I wanted the poppies to look more like  Manuk's but lets face it ...it.s impossible..plus she used 1 mm strips and I have yet to battle with those kind of strips. Need more experience heheh.

Pentru acest proiect m.am folosit de fasii de latime 3 mm. Voiam ca macii sa arata mai mult ca cei a lui Manuk insa sa fim seriosi..este imposibil..plus ca ea a folosit fasii de 1 mm iar eu nu m.am aventurat inca sa folosesc fasii atat de subtiri. Mai trebuie un pic de experienta..heheh

Quilled Dreamcatcher~

I know I know~It is too fast to be done with the paper version of the dreamcatcher but truth is..I really wanted to post both of my projects at the same time so I postponed the real dreamcatcher till the quilled one was ready. Sooo.dunno if ull like it as much as I do buut.

Stiu stiu..Este prea rapid sa fiu gata cu versiunea de hartie a prinzatorului de vise dar adevarul este ca..voiam sa postez ambele proiecte odata asa ca am amanat un pic prezentarea adevaratului prinzator de vise pana cel de hartie era gata. Deeeci..nu stiu daca va va placea la fel de mult ca si mie dar..

Of course I again chose colours..I dunno why I prefer it that way..it looks more alive..more beautiful with the britght colours~ Maybe Ill try something neutral too.We.ll see. Till then. Heres the quilled version of a dreamcatcher.

Desigur ..am folosit din nou culori.Nu stiu de ce prefer asta..poate pentru ca arata mai frumos in culori vii..mai cu viata. Poate voi incerca si ceva neutru.O sa vad. Pana atunci iata versiunea de hartie a prinzatorului de vise.

I feel sad though that I havent found one single quilled dreamcatcher.Im curious about what others may do. Looking forward to ur creations if u do decide to make one. Ill love it if u could tell me so I can check it out.Im deadly curious.

Sunt trista insa ca nu am gasit nici o varianta a unui prinzator de vise din quilling.Sunt curioasa ce idei au altii.Sunt nerabdatoare sa vad creatiile voastre daca decideti sa faceti un prinzator de viseMi.ar placea daca mi.at spune ca sa pot sa ma uit.Sunt foarte curioasa.

Sunflowers♥

Hi crafters~ I have this project that I have started 10 days ago and i almost finished it[90%] and then other things came out and I had to put it on hold~Well...luckily today I have found the time to finally take my sunflowers and make them shine.keke.

Buna ~Am acest proiect pe care l-am inceput acum 10 zile si pe care aproape l-am terminat[90%] dar datorita unor interventii a trebuit sa il pun pe plan secund~ Astazi insa am reusit in sfarsit sa gasesc timp sa aduc cele 3 floarea soarelui la lumina hehe.



So I have wanted to make my own version of sunflowers for a while now but I just..i dont know if I did~ I mean it is hard to not be influenced by everything outhere~

 Am vrut sa fac versiunea mea pentru floarea soarelui dar pur si simplu..nu stiu daca am reusit~ Este greu sa nu ma las influentata de creatiile existente deja.


 I know its hard to come up with something original~ buut..I tried..hehe

Colourful Love~

Ohh..it's been a while since my last post~ I haven't quilled for a few weeks now and I couldn.t wait to start again~  The problem though..after doing nothing for a period of time..is the lack of inspiration and not knowing what to do~LOL. So I remembered that I saw once a beautiful quilled picture of Yulia Brodskaya [x]  and I really wanted to do smth similar.

Ohh..a trecut ceva timp de la ultima mea postare~ Nu am mai lucrat la un proiect de quilling de ceva saptamani si abia am asteptat sa incep din nou. Problema este insa..ca dupa ce am stat cateva saptamani fara sa fac nimic..imi lipseste inspiratia si nu stiu cum sa incep. Noroc ca mi.am amintit de o fotografie a Yuliei brodskaya [x] descoperita acum ceva zile pe care voiam sa o reinventez.

So..as I was saying I wanted to do smth similar..but wanted to put something mine in it..its only right this way.~ And..luckily Pritesh's blog ,Quilling Me Softly , just turned one year and she started this challenge in which we has to do some quillography~ And so..I began quilling. Here is my result.

unfortunately I have no quality camera..and I had to improvise[again].

Dupa cum spunea..voiam sa fac ceva similar si totusi sa fie al meu.Ocazia a venit o data cu implinirea unui an de existenta a blogului lui Pritesh,Quilling Me Softly , pe care a decis sa il sarbatoreasca cu o provocare ce include ceva quillografie. Si astfel am inceput lucrul. Iata rezultatul meu:

din pacate insa nu am camera potrivita..si a trebuit sa improvizez un pic.

Pritesh made a condition for this project to  qualify for the challenge:to be at least a A4 size.

Well It is indeed A4..i don.t know though if it's visible~  lenght: 29.5 cm ,width:21 cm.

Pritesh a pus o conditie pentru participarea in provocare si anume..proiectul trebuie sa aiba dimensiunea unei coli A4 sau mai mare.

Este intradevar de dimensiunea unei coli A4 insa nu stiu daca se vede atat de bine~

Lungime:29.4 iar latime: 21 cm.
